Hi friends! Welcome back to MP – it’s been awhile! Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I took a little break from this space (although I remained on Instagram here if you aren’t following along!). One of my favorite things about blogging (and following other bloggers) is sharing and seeing the “realness.” Real-life happenings. For me that may be showing you a good book I just finished, a toy I found that my dog loves, or something I packed on a trip that I think everyone should use.
This week, I’m kicking off my first “Weekly 5.” Each Sunday, I’ll share five things that I loved from the week before. I’ll also be putting them on Instagram (click that link above), if you miss it.
The Therapist by B.A. Paris
I recently finished this book and it was, in true B.A. Paris style, twisted! It’s about a man and woman in England in a relationship who want to take things a step further and move in together. The man buys a house for them to live in, but soon after, the woman discovers that the person who lived there before was murdered. The neighbors are heavily involved and the neighborhood situation is somewhat relatable, so you’re drawn in. I’ve always been into B.A. Paris novels because they never truly wrap up until the very last sentence. This reigned true here. If you have any down time coming up (a flight, trip, or empty weekend), I would highly recommend this one!
The New Season of Grace & Frankie
First, I’M SO SAD YET SO HAPPY! They released four episodes of Season 7 of Grace & Frankie on Netflix. The next ones don’t come out until 2022. Savor them, friends!

I had to include a few things from our trip to Colorado last week in this roundup! I have now worn these heels in two weddings (every bride loves to ask bridesmaids to wear nude heels, and that’s great!), and they’re extremely comfy. I wore them all day both times with zero complaints, which is big. Order them now here for $30!
Amazon Toiletry Bag
I had to pull the trigger on this incredible bag for our trip! It reminds me of the 2010 Vera Bradley one my friend Alexis gave me that I used for every college getaway/travel back home. It’s actually a lot bigger and more functional, though. It also cleans easier and holds full-size products, which is rare! I got extremely tired of carrying my shampoo/conditioner/etc. in a Ziploc. This is eco-friendly 😉
The New Yeti Rambler
I shared on my Instagram stories that I found this incredible new style of the Rambler cup at the Yeti store in Denver. I’m so excited to have a travel mug that has a handle AND fits in my car cupholders! The employee at the Yeti store said this had JUST came out, and we only saw it in a few colors. I am stoked! So far I only see it on the Yeti site… so it’s THAT new! This would make an awesome gift (Christmas is coming) too.
