My Sephora Holiday Savings Event Picks

It’s the best time to save at least 10% on your Sephora purchases! Today I’m sharing my Sephora Beauty Insider Holiday Savings Event picks.

Sephora has their Holiday Savings Event for Beauty Insiders through 11/9. This sale is a great opportunity to purchase your favorite items, or splurge on something you might not have thought about getting. Its also the perfect time to get holiday gifts at a discount.

There are three tiers for loyal Sephora shoppers: Rouge, VIB, and Beauty Insider. Rouge members get 20% off, if you are VIB you get 15% off, and if you are Insider you get 10% off your entire purchase. Use the code HOLIDAYFUN for these discounts.

Last year, I splurged on Kate Somerville’s ExfoliKate. I was apprehensive, but here I am, a whole year later, and I’ve purchased another bottle. This time I wanted to share my holy grail beauty products. Here’s my list of favorites:

Skincare

Biossance Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil: I got this from the Create & Cultivate Conference in 2018 in my swag bag and have been using it since. I kid you not this thing has lasted me almost two years. It’s a clean beauty brand, which I fully support, and I’ve since tried out a few other products, including…

Biossance Squalane + 10% Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum: I use this 2-3x a week, and it helps with fine lines, pores, and I like to think a bit of acne. I always notice my skin is tighter in the morning after applying at night.

Kate Somerville’s EradiKate Daily Cleanser: If I had to pick just one product to use for the rest of my life, this would be it. I’m VERY obsessed with this cleanser. I use it twice a day and the amount of sulfur is the only thing that’s cleared up my acne.

Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer: This product is so dang expensive, but sooooo worth it. A lot of moisturizers make my skin break out, but this actually keeps things under control. I also used to have dry skin in the fall/winter months, but I have not since using this. One jar usually lasts me six months, but I also utilize it with my self tanning drops.

Makeup

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation: If you can get this on sale, GO FOR IT! I will never, ever pick another foundation as my favorite. It’s long-lasting and high coverage. I’ve been wearing it since my senior year of college, so for six years.

Urban Decay Heavy Dose All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray: I’m linking to this gift set because it’s a great value! I would get this for a sister, etc. It’s something I use after putting on foundation on a regular basis.

Other Must-Haves

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops: Now that it’s fall, these are great mixed with your lotion (make sure it’s high quality lotion so it blends well) and applied on your face/neck. I wouldn’t recommend these on your legs/body.

Invisibobble Hair Rings: Apparently I’ve been wearing these since 2018, according to this post! I gave these out at a “Favorite Things” holiday party last year with my girlfriends and I think they make an awesome gift/stocking stuffer.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I discovered this earlier this year and love it instead of Chapstick. It smells great and when I put it on at night, it leaves chapped lips noticeably different by the morning.

Mizani 25 Miracle Milk Leave-In Conditioner: I actually use this product as a detangler! It had great reviews, so I decided to try it out this summer when my detangler was back-ordered, and I am officially on-board to switch to this. I think it would be great for your kids tangles, too.

What are your sale picks?

  • Keeping date nights going during this pandemic has been interesting, especially when your bf is a nurse! Last night we enjoyed dinner at Leadbelly (seriously, SO COVID-friendly & the same owners as my fave place Toast in #LNK) and the Season of Lights in Turner Park at @midtowncrossing! Thank you so much for having us, Midtown! It was a much needed little getaway into Omaha, followed by driving around and seeing more lights. We loved: -132nd & Larimore, which has a few houses set up to radio stations -132nd & Hamilton - Linden Estates Area - which blew me away

  • If you watched my stories, you may have seen my GIANT #monstera! I decided to propagate it on Monday after finding this perfect rattan-looking ceramic planter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is my first year with any houseplants that aren’t succulents so I googled a ton of blog posts about how to propagate. Today (after waiting 3 days) I swapped the water out for new and placed the cutting next to the current plant on a little table. I’m hoping this works and it grows roots/thrives in a few weeks. Please send me ALLLL your houseplant tips! So far I only do these
