My Christmas Wishlist

All I want for Christmas is… Well, there are actually a lot of things. LOL. This year I asked my family for socks, warm gloves and gardening gloves. I also threw out a few other items, but some I purchased for myself. I’m headed to Jackson Hole next month, so travel and warm items were added to my Christmas wishlist.

  • Electric Blanket: I am the person who is always cold. At work I have two heaters going at all times.
  • Sorel Boots: Everything you could need in a snow boot – warm, waterproof and also stylish. I’m wearing these everywhere in Jackson.
  • Patagonia Winter Coat: I love the length of this coat. Warning: the fit is SUPER narrow, I am wearing a L so I can have on all the bulky sweaters underneath!
  • Black Beanie: The perfect black beanie that holds shape does exist, and it’s from Under Armour. I snagged this one and haven’t taken it off essentially.
  • Drybar Curling Wand: This has been on my list since February 2018 when I used my friend’s on a trip to D.C. This wand barrel is larger at the end, which is great for more natural-looking waves. I am a big fan of Drybar products – you may have seen me visit their new Blowout Bar in Omaha recently – highly recommend!
  • New Work Bag: After searching for MONTHS, I finally found the perfect work bag. This holds my 15″ MacBook Pro + everything else I could every carry. There are two hidden exterior pockets as well as two side pockets for water bottles. I love that it looks professional, but it’s waterproof and can dupe for a gym bag. You need this.
  • Triple Sec Spray: This texturizing spray dupes for me as a dry shampoo AND hairspray. I use it constantly.
  • Antoni Cookbook: I’ve had my eye on multiple cookbooks this season and this is one that comes highly recommended.

  • Real garland ✔️ Excited that the mantle is finished! Would love allll of your tips to keep it alive through #Christmas! I also had extra, so I whipped together a makeshift wreath to go over the mirror. Now I just need to wrap presents! #mantledecor #realgarland #garland #christmasdecor #holidaydecor #mantlestyling #garlanddecor #nebraskablogger #nebraska #homedecor #homefortheholidays
  • Another post from me today, say what?! I had to share that @mapiful is running their BIGGEST sale of the year - 20% off everything! I’ve had so much fun partnering to design my #Chicago and #Lincoln prints. I love this little corner of my office. I’m thankful it’s inviting, especially after a long holiday weekend! I added a link in my bio to their site! #mapifulfamily #collab #officedecor #homeoffice #chicagoprint #chicagodecor #nebraskablogger #wayfair #workfromhome #workfromhomelife
  • Keeping date nights going during this pandemic has been interesting, especially when your bf is a nurse! Last night we enjoyed dinner at Leadbelly (seriously, SO COVID-friendly & the same owners as my fave place Toast in #LNK) and the Season of Lights in Turner Park at @midtowncrossing! Thank you so much for having us, Midtown! It was a much needed little getaway into Omaha, followed by driving around and seeing more lights. We loved: -132nd & Larimore, which has a few houses set up to radio stations -132nd & Hamilton - Linden Estates Area - which blew me away
  • Two months ago, I tested positive for COVID-19 and during that quarantine period I did a whooooleeee lot of binge-watching. Whether you’re in my situation or you’re just quarantining before you see family for the holidays, I put together an important guide on the blog: Everything I watched in quarantine, ranked from worst-best. #quarantinewatchlist #whattowatch #nebraskablogger
  • 200!! Happy to kick off 2021 with a big @onepeloton milestone! I’ve been loving the #bikethatgoesnowhere for almost 2 years and finally hit this goal. Big thanks to @robinnyc for the back-to-back rides today! I’ve never stuck with a fitness program this long and could go on and on about Peloton. If you’re on the fence, GO FOR IT! I’m sharing my favorite rides and recommendations after completing 200 on the blog today. • If you watched my stories, you may have seen my GIANT #monstera! I decided to propagate it on Monday after finding this perfect rattan-looking ceramic planter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is my first year with any houseplants that aren’t succulents so I googled a ton of blog posts about how to propagate. Today (after waiting 3 days) I swapped the water out for new and placed the cutting next to the current plant on a little table. I’m hoping this works and it grows roots/thrives in a few weeks. Please send me ALLLL your houseplant tips! So far I only do these
