I’ve been busy planning a bridal shower and thoughtfully buying gifts for the 9 weddings I have this summer (mentioned here)! I’ve teamed up with Scout Bags (you may remember this post where I shared their spring line) to show you how to make gifting personal and reusable with their new collection.
Hi friends and happy middle-of-the-week! You may remember this engagement basket I created last May – a year later, I’m planning my best friend’s shower!
I started by securing a venue, ordering food (decorated cookies and cake pops, yes please!) and sending invites, and now I’m at the gifting stage. When Scout Bags had another partnership opportunity, I knew it fit with this stage of shower planning!
One of the requests from the bride for this event was recipe cards for each attendee. I designed and mailed the cards shown above. Having recipe cards makes part of my gift giving easy – I had to find and gift the perfect recipe box! Gift wrapping for this was also easy when Scout sent me the tiny package gift bag in the print “Hello, Dotty.” I added a gift in this wine bottle tote for the bride’s mom, because she put a lot of work into this too!
These signature bags are all-weather woven fabric and come in unique patterns, making them durable and fun to reuse. I am a perfectionist, and wrapping is not a skill of mine, so these bags are perfect for gift giving. If you’re looking at purchasing on Scout’s site (click here) soon, you can use the code WRAPCOLORFULLY and you’ll receive a free tote and free shipping for anywhere in the U.S.*
I can’t wait for June (how is it already almost June…) and this shower! If you’d like a copy of my recipe card, leave a comment below or DM me!
Thank you to BrandBacker and Scout Bags for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions on Margaret Paige are my own.
