Decorating Small Spaces: Office Revamp

I’ve almost been in my home for one year (September) and it was time to give my favorite small space a decor update! Today on the blog, I’m sharing how I revamped my office with Gordmans.

Today I’m sharing a little peak into my favorite small space: my office! I retreat here on a daily basis to finish up work, check off items in my planner (you know I’m a list gal) and surf Pinterest. Having a designated work space in my home is so much more encouraging. Thanks to my favorite off-price retailer, Gordmans, my space has been restyled!

I know many of you are heading back to school this week and decorating your apartments, sorority house rooms, or, for many of my friends in law, dental or optometry school, your rental homes! Being in our 20’s, we’re all on budgets. Making even the simplest spaces feel cozy while staying in your price range is possible.

As I mentioned earlier, Gordmans is an off-price retailer. Off-price retailers buy excess inventory from department and specialty stores, then sell it at greatly reduced prices. For shoppers, that means exceptional deals on designer and name brand fashion and home décor. I couldn’t believe the deals on many of these larger items – my rug ($40), blanket ($16) and lamp ($30), to name a few.

Starting with my desk, I was able to accessorize and organize my space. Decor – canisters, the letter board ($15, y’all – get on this!) and my new candle completed my desk look. I even got to throw in my favorite accent shape – a mint colored pineapple! Shopping at Gordmans was affordable and they had everything I was looking for (actually more, I almost walked away with new sunroom furniture…)!

Are you ready for back to school season? How are you decorating your small spaces? I’d love to hear/see!

[…] Last month I bought Target’s version of the Free People cutout booties (SUCH A STEAL!) and I wanted to share them again. All the heart eyes, still. They’re in the picture above. I got this Addy tank from Backporch Boutique – they’re such a steal for $12. For size reference, I got a M and it’s flowy/almost long on me! Coming up on the blog next week: fall home decor! I got a TON of stuff from Gordmans. Their fall selection was AMAZING. I was happily surprised. They have stepped it up on home decor, furniture, and accessories lately. I’m a little sad they didn’t have some of the stuff they have now when I was decorating my office. […]
