Today I’m recapping the month of May. Get all the details on what I bought, read, watched and where I traveled.

What I Bought:
I finally have a new stove! I am so excited to no longer have my 1952 40″ range – although it had a lot of prep space, it wasn’t safe! I also have new flooring, which I am really excited about! I plan to add the wainscoting and baseboards ASAP and a new light fixture in my breakfast nook.
Where I Traveled/Ate:
Lots of traveling this month! Memorial Day Weekend I headed to Texas for a wedding in McKinney. It was GORGEOUS. Pictures below and potentially a whole post on traveling for weddings (I learned a lot)…
After Texas, I headed to Las Vegas for a conference my work hosts for financial advisors. I was there for four days and mainly stayed inside the Aria at our conference area, but got out on Friday to the pool! #Sunburnt
The following Monday, we headed to a Chicago suburb for a client dinner. Ironically, it was 5 miles from where I used to work. It was a long two weeks – but I LOVE to travel around the U.S. I have yet to visit another country, but maybe it’ll happen this year 🙂
Movies I Saw:
Still going strong with my MoviePass! If you don’t have one… you need it.
Breaking In: This was intense and I really liked it more than I thought I would! Gabrielle Union is a BOSS. Rating: 6/10
Life of the Party: Must-see girls movie. Also giving this one a 7/10
Book Club: Best movie I saw this month. Jane Fonda is still my favorite actress after Grace and Frankie! 8/10
Netflix/Hulu Series I Watched:
I’m sad The Good Fight Season 2 ended, but excited for Season 3! If you didn’t watch it, you should! I also watched a random Netflix movie that showed up on my screen called Kissing Booth. It was one of those silly, feel-good movies you need to see when you’re bored!

What’s On My Tending List for June:
I haven’t done my Powersheets for June yet and it’s June 11th… Just like I’m writing this post so late. Life has caught up with me! I think being so busy the last week of May took a toll. Maybe later I’ll get there, but for now, my tending list is to get by 🙂
