Hi friends & Happy Tuesday! My week got off to a rocky start, as I am swamped at work! Sometimes it’s hard to balance everything around the holidays, and lately it’s been even more stressful. I don’t have any actual Thanksgiving Day plans, so I’m looking forward to checking a lot off my to-do list.
Looking back, I was so thankful for college fall and Christmas breaks. As many of you may know, I had a side hustle – an embroidery business. Breaks gave me time to work on orders this time of year, and I was always busy. Today is #NationalEntrepreneursDay and this weekend is Small Business Saturday! Being a 19-year-old entrepreneur introduced me to a whole new world. I have such a strong appreciation for small business owners and what they’ve created. I wanted to introduce you to two of my favorite places to check out this weekend!
Hello Ruby is normally a mobile boutique (probably the cutest truck ever), but for three months it’s a pop-up shop in Aksarben! Jill and her pup, Ruby, have created (what I think is) one of the cutest boutiques in Omaha! She is such a #bossbabe and offers really affordable price points for unique items.
She’s having some uber-great deals ALL WEEKEND LONG, not just Small Business Saturday! You can view them here on Facebook, or they’re:

I think the most asked question I get on Instagram isn’t “where did you get that”, but “where are you at” every time I post here! The Milady Coffeehouse is located in my hometown of Fremont, Nebraska and has the ambiance of a giant living room (as they say)! They’ve got the best peanut butter cup latte in town and sweets from other local bakeries. To say I am obsessed with this place is probably an understatement. I would rather work from here every day than my office desk (oops!). Rather than type them out, here are their fabulous holiday drinks. I can’t wait to try the North Pole!
Super cute, right?! View what one of them looks like here and you’ll swoon…
All of the pictures above were taken at Milady, so you can see why I love the atmosphere! Again, here…
Although these two are at the top of my list of small businesses, here are some that deserve mentions and a look for Small Business Saturday:
