Check out all that snow! When Molly took these around Christmas I was in a winter wonderland! My parents live in the country and have the perfect winter scenery: log home, evergreen trees, frozen lake, horses roaming the front pasture… exactly what you’d picture in the Midwest 😉
Today I wanted to share one of my new favorite winter trends: the off-the-shoulder sweater. With neutral tones these can be paired with any color/style of jeans or leggings and dressed up or down. My grey sweater is even more versatile and can be worn as a cowl-neck. The black sweater is casual and comfy (and my friends say it reminds them of our sorority composite pictures-haha!). I paired both with my two favorite brands of denim: Frame and Buckle and my favorite winter footwear: comfy TOMS wedge booties and OTK boots from Nordstrom.
Since most of my bags are tan, winter gets tricky. This pattered Vera Bradley cross body is perfect for Husker basketball games (I’ll be heading to the Husker women’s game tonight with my dad!), a girls night or an event you don’t want to have too big of a bag. On the other hand, my oversized black Vera bag has been a work staple! The material can be wiped off if it gets dirty and I can squeeze it under my desk during the day.
What are some of your favorite winter trends? You can shop my looks from the links above. Happy Wednesday!
